Structural steel erection
Portal frames, columns and beams, bracing and purlins. Set out, craned in, plumbed and bolted up to the engineer's drawings.
We erect and rig structural steel across Auckland. Portal frames, mezzanines, plant and platforms. Crews who turn up when the crane does, and leave the frame plumb, tightened and ready for the next trade.
Portal frames, columns and beams, bracing and purlins. Set out, craned in, plumbed and bolted up to the engineer's drawings.
Plant, tanks, generators and production lines rigged, shifted and set down on the pad. Tight access and live sites included.
Lift plans, load charts, rigging gear selection and exclusion zones worked out before the crane books in, not on the day.
Racking mezzanines, access platforms, walkways and stairs installed inside working warehouses with the doors still open.
Openings cut and framed, members added, connections upgraded. Temporary propping and staged work around an operating building.
Steel taken down in reverse sequence, cut, bundled and carted off. Salvage kept for reuse where it is worth keeping.
Stock images standing in for the real thing. Swap each one for your own site photos and the page is ready to go live.
Every frame starts as a drawing and a weather forecast.
The difference is whether someone worked out the sequence before the crane arrived.
We read the shop drawings, walk the site and check access, ground conditions and what the crane can actually reach.
Erection sequence, crane position, rigging gear and exclusion zones written down and agreed with the main contractor.
Steel landed in sequence, temporary bracing in as we go, crew on harnesses and the ground kept clear under the load.
Frame lined, levelled and plumbed to tolerance, then bolts tensioned and marked off connection by connection.
Site cleared, gear off, and the paperwork handed over so the next trade and the engineer can both get on with it.
Three ways we quote, depending on how much is known when you ask. Whichever way it goes, you get the number in writing before anyone climbs on anything.
A lump sum against your drawings. We count the pieces, work out the crane time and the crew days, and give you one number for the erection.
Best when drawings are finalCrew and gear charged by the day or half day. Suits variations, unknowns behind a wall, and jobs where the scope moves as it opens up.
Best when scope is unclearAgreed rates by tonne or by piece for repeat work, so each job off the same schedule gets priced the same way without a new quote each time.
Best for repeat clientsNo figures published on purpose. Steel erection is priced job by job, and a rate on a website is a number someone will hold you to on the wrong job. Send the drawings and you get a real one.
They turned up with the sequence already worked out, so the crane never sat idle. That is the whole job, really.
Frame went up in the window they said it would, and the bolt records came back without me having to chase anyone.
We stayed open the whole time the mezzanine went in. They worked around our forklifts instead of shutting us down.
These three reviews are written samples showing how the section works. Replace them with real client feedback, with permission, before this page goes live.
Erection and rigging only. The steel comes from your fabricator and we put it up. If you have not appointed a fabricator yet we can tell you who we work well with, but the supply contract stays between you and them.
Either way. We can carry the craneage inside our price, or you book it directly and we work to your crane. Carrying it ourselves usually costs less in standing time, because the lift plan and the crane booking get made by the same people.
It depends on the size of the job and how the crane hire is sitting. Talk to us as soon as the steel is ordered rather than when it lands, because that is when the sequence can still be changed cheaply.
Yes. Mezzanines, platforms and alterations regularly go in while the doors stay open. We stage the work, agree exclusion zones with your team and work around your forklifts rather than shutting you down.
Auckland wide as standard, and into Northland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty for the right job. Travel and accommodation are priced separately and shown as their own line, not buried in the rate.
Shop drawings or a marking plan, the site address, and roughly when you want it up. Tonnage and piece count if you have them. If drawings are not ready, describe the job and we will give you a range and tell you what would firm it up.
A frame that goes up safely goes up fast. Every lift gets a plan, every crew member knows the sequence, and the exclusion zone goes out before the hook goes on.
We work to the drawings and to the New Zealand standards the engineer is signing against, and we keep the records that prove it. If something on site does not match the plan, work stops and we sort it out with the contractor before it goes any higher.
Plus Northland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.
The more of this you fill in, the closer the first number is. If you only know half of it, send it anyway and we will ask about the rest.
Progress claims go out monthly against the work completed on site, with a signed variation for anything outside the original scope.
Quote your purchase order number and we will carry it through every claim, so your QS can match the paperwork without chasing us for it.
